Feeling jittery, Valerie Concepcion speaks about this new milestone in her daughter’s life.

VALERIE CONCEPCION – Actress and host Valerie Concepcion shares what she feels about her daughter bound to move out of their home soon.

Heather Fiona Galang is the daughter of actress and host Valerie Concepcion. She is turning 18 this year and will also soon enter college. In an interview, Valerie shared that she got pregnant with Heather when she was just 16 years old.

Her daughter never met her father but she’s always been honest with her about her father’s identity. Meanwhile, Valerie never talked about her daughter’s father to the public.

And now, with her daughter already old enough to live alone since she is entering college soon, she expressed what she feels as a mother. According to her, Heather will be taking Nursing at the Far Eastern University in Manila.

She will be staying in a condo near her school and it was actually her idea to get her a condo. Valerie explained, “O, kumuha tayo ng condo, para kapag weekend, nandun ako sa iyo.’ Kasi mahihirapan dahil Saturday, may classes din siya, e.”

Although she’s feeling uneasy about this milestone about to happen in her daughter’s life, she will remain supportive. She is proud of her and her determination to be independent. She added, “She really wants to learn about sa buhay-buhay. And that’s why I’m very proud of her talaga.”

She also revealed that nursing is actually not her daughter’s priority course. Heather initially wanted to become a flight attendant but she advised her to have a backup plan in case they move to the United States, thus, the nursing course. She also finds it perfect since it can also serve as her pre-med course.
