Ivana Alawi moves netizens to tears in vlog with sick children

ACTRESS and social media personality Ivana Alawi has captured the hearts of netizens after visiting the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), where she extended financial help to ailing children and their families.

In her latest vlog “Buhay Ospital,” Ivana gave ₱50,000 each to several young patients undergoing treatment, expressing her hope that the cash aid would help ease their burden.

“Napakahirap kasi magkasakit—financially, mentally, everything [damay],” Ivana said. “Maliit na tulong lang ito. Na-touch nga ako kasi sumaya sila nang pumunta ako.”

Visibly emotional throughout the video, Ivana admitted the visit reminded her to put her personal struggles in perspective.

“‘Yung mga bata, mas malaki ‘yung problema nila. Ako umaarte sa mga problema ko,” she said.

Ivana also gave a brand-new phone to the doctor and nurse who joined her during her rounds in the hospital.

To support the children even more, she asked her viewers not to skip the ads on the vlog. “Lahat ng kikitain ng video na ito ay ido-donate natin sa Philippine Children’s Medical Center,” she said.

The video quickly went viral, drawing an outpouring of praise and emotional messages from viewers.
