A contestant in ‘It’s Showtime’ was disqualified after his now-deleted controversial Facebook post.

Marco Adobas was a “resbaker” in the ongoing ‘TNT All-Star Grand Resba 2025.’

Adobas posted a controversial opinion about the results of the recently concluded episode of the segment yesterday, March 26, 2025.

It’s Showtime hosts Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Vice Ganda announced today that Adobas has been disqualified from the competition.

It’s about violating the agreement that every contestant signed prior to the start of the contest.

It can be recalled that yesterday, Adobas’ teammate Ayegee Paredes lost to Team Agimat’s Marco Rudio despite Paredes getting a standing ovation from judges Pops Fernandez and Erik Santos.

After the episode yesterday, Adobas posted in his Facebook account; however, the post has already been deleted.

Following Adobas’ disqualification, he was replaced by another contestant named Arvery Lagoring from the already-eliminated Team Amihan.

Ang mga kalahok sa #TawagNgTanghalan ay may pinirmahang kasunduan bago magsimula ang kumpetisyon. Sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari, si Marco Adobas ng #PangkatAlon ay may nilabag na alituntunin na nakasaad sa kanyang pinirmahang kasunduan. Dahilan para sa siya ay ma-disqualify, at hindi na magpatuloy sa kumpetisyon.

At dahil sa mga mabigat na paratang na inilahatla niya sa kanyang social media patungkol sa kumpetisyon at sa programa, ay may posibilidad na masampahan siya ng kaso. Dahil din sa pangyayaring ito ay napagdesisyunan ng programa na siya ay palitan upang manatiling kumpleto ang bilang ng mga miyembro ng pangkat na kanyang kinabibilangan. At ang piniling kapalit ay manggagaling sa natibag na pangkat, ang #PangkatAmihan at yun ay walang iba kundi si Arvery Lagoring.”

Vice Ganda, whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral, is a famous comedian, host, actor, singer, and entrepreneur in the Philippines. He is well known as the main host of the noontime show It’s Showtime and for his blockbuster movies such as Praybeyt Benjamin, Fantastica, and The Super Parental Guardians. Aside from being an entertainer, he is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has a strong influence on the country’s pop culture.

 Vice Ganda was shocked after discovering that one of their contestants wasn’t “knowledgeable” about COMELEC. This happened in the recently concluded weekly finals in ‘S3xy Babe’ of their noontime show ‘It’s Showtime.’ A 20-year-old weekly finalist was asked “Ano ang mensahe mo sa COMELEC?” The contestant initially responded by saying “Sorry po, hindi po ako masyadong knowledgeable about sa COMELEC.”

Additionally, news quickly spread that Vice Ganda walked out of the Barako Festival after he failed to continue his dance performance. However, a source close to Vice clarified that it was not a walkout but a technical problem because the wrong music was played for his performance. Although he did not proceed with the dance, Vice still spoke on stage and greeted Ate Vi and a party-list group before leaving. Many fans were disappointed since Vice had rehearsed before the event, but his relationship with the organizers and guests remained good.
